Christmas market at Carlsberg Visitors Centre November 28th 2009 from 10.00 - 18.00
Come experience the true spirit of Christmas at the old Carlsberg Brewery Saturday the 28th of November between 10:00 and 18:00
On this day the gates will open to a traditional Christmas market held in the courtyard surrounded by the historical and charming buildings of Carlsberg. At the Christmas market there will be booths and stands where it will be possible to get a little taste of Christmas and of course taste the Christmas beers by Tuborg, Carlsberg, Jacobsen, Semper Ardens and Kongens Bryghus
From the Christmas cabins in the courtyard it will be possible to purchase: traditional Danish Christmas pasties, almonds marinated in Christmas beer, hotdogs, hot chocolate, and beer based Danish traditional Christmas "gløgg".
Our huge Christmas tree will be lit at 12.00 and the stables will be open all day where it will be possible to meet and greet the horses of the brewery.
On this day, in addition to our regular menu at Bar Jacobsen, it will be possible to purchase the Christmas menu consisting of:
- Curry herring with eggs and shrimp
- Lox with hovmester sauce
- Duck seasoned with special Christmas seasoning and marinated red onions
- Västerbotten cheese with prunes boiled in Christmas beer - Julemomme
- Bred, Rybred, and butter
